LAST YEAR AND MOST DESIRABLE FOR THE TRIDENT. 1975 T160 ELECTRIC START 3 CYLINDER. BIKE WAS PURCHASED FROM ESTATE, I PLANNED ON RESTORING BUT HAVE TOO MANY BIKES. THE BIKE IS VERY ORIGINAL INCLUDING AIR BOX, CHOKES STILL IN PLACE, HAS RARE LARGE OPTION GAS TANK. THE BIKE HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SEVERAL YEARS AND WAS RUNNNING WHEN PUT AWAY. I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO IT, THE NEW OWNER CAN HAVE THE FUN PUTTING IT BACK ON THE ROAD. CLEAR TITLE, MATCHING ENGINE AND FRAME, ENGINE TURNS WITH GOOD COMPRESSION, NO KEY, RIGHT FRONT TURN SIGNAL BROKEN, TACH GLASS HAS CRACK, SOLD AS IS. NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING. LOOK AT PICTURES AND ASK INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS. DO NOT ASK ME "WHAT DO YOU THINK IT WILL TAKE TO GET RUNNING?" IF THAT QUESITON ENTERS YOUR MIND RESTART YOUR SEARCH FOR A RESTORED BIKE OR A NEW HONDA.

This bike was purchased over 20 years ago and has been ridden and maintained by that same person. Several years ago he had the tank repainted in his school colors, which work rather well on a British bike. When he first purchased the bike it had a single exhaust and in his words was a real dog. He was ready to sell it then, thinking what he had heard about these bikes being real screamers was false. However, in speaking with several Brit bike aficionados, learned that the exhaust was very important to how these 740cc triples breathed and installed a quad into two exhaust and along with a rebuild and tune on the Amal carbs, really woke this bike up. He loved it and became his bike of choice when heading out on a ride. Aside from those bits and set of new Dunlop Roadmaster tires, this bike is original and has just 15,500 miles on her. As a 75, this bike has an electric start which DOES work correctly, 5 speed transmission and disc brakes front and rear. This bike isn't a show bike that is trailered to events, this bike has been ridden and very well maintained so she shines nicely but does have a flaw here or there. Some basic specs: 740CC, Electric start, 58 HP, 504lbs, 5 speed left side shift, twin pot 10" disc brakes front and rear, triple 26mm Amal carburetors. A review written recently says "These are great bikes for anyone who wants a classic ride which will go like stink, handle brilliantly, make fabbo noises and turn heads wherever it's parked. The barely contained 'whooooo…' as the revs build is a great roar and encourages you to go far too fast, which is a rare thing with bikes of this generation." If you're ready for a classic Brit bike to make "fabbo" noises with, this turn key Trident is for you. Fully sorted and ready to hop on and enjoy the ride.

1975 Triumph Trident , 8000 OBO. This is my 1975 Triumph Trident T160V. The rarest year of Tridents due to the rocked forward jugs. If you know Triumphs you know what you are looking at. So lets begin by saying this bike is not a concourse ready all stock unit but with just a few purchases it could be. This bike had a complete Frame up restoration a few years back including the heads being gone thru and a fresh top end. The bike has the original electric start but due to me running an undersized battery it is kick only currently. I put alot of effort into giving the cafe appearance without sacrificing the core T160 look. I hope you find it as nice as I do and it would be great to add to any British cycle enthusiasts collection. I do not have any extra parts sorry the extras were used for another T160 project. No lowball offers I am not desperate to sell just making some space. $8,000.00 6304480149

The bike is very nice cosmetically. Most of the chrome, with the exception of the turn signal housing, is excellent. Including new brake master cylinders front and rear, new chain, new battery, valve adjustment, oil change, tune up, and several new electrical items. Brake fluid leaked on the gas tank during storage at one point and damaged the paint as shown here. There are no dings or dents in the tank whatsoever, just damaged paint. Both tank emblems are nice.
